Software Developer for our Applications and Support Team
CODESYS Corporation
Beverly, MA office full time position
Your Tasks:
- Support CODESYS customers with technical training, consulting and support services
- Communication with customers to specify and implement prototype projects
- Development and support of plug-ins for the CODESYS Development System in C#/.net, C++
- Development and support of components for CODESYS runtime systems in C
- Development and support of control applications and libraries in IEC 61131-3 programming languages
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable technical degree and experience
- Programming experience in C#/.NET, C, Python
- Experience with programming in Windows as well as Linux on PC and embedded platforms
- General knowledge of industrial automation and control technologies, Fieldbus and IIoT
- Experience with PLC, DCS, PAC or similar industrial control systems with IEC 61131-3 is a plus
- Willing to continuously learn new technologies
- Willing to occasionally travel to customer sites, mainly within the continental US and Canada

Applications Support Engineer

Your Tasks:
- Provide first-tier technical and product application support to OEMs and end-users
- Support the CODESYS sales team with technical sales activities (demos, presentations, etc.)
- Coordinate with technical support colleagues to ensure all support requests are accurately and efficiently managed
- Work closely with the development teams to report product issues, software bugs, and other problems
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable technical degree and experience
- General knowledge of industrial automation and control technologies, Fieldbus and IIoT
- Experience with PLC, DCS, PAC or similar industrial control systems with IEC 61131-3 is a plus
- Great troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize
- Willing to occasionally travel to customer sites, mainly within the continental US and Canada
